Relaxing on Sat, both had a very busy week at work. Sunday off for a sail to the island, will relax once there, probably staying overnight and then sail back sometime monday. Will possible spend some time chiding co-workers who spent a very, very long time waiting in line to get a certain phone this morning.

The best thing about living in Ontario is the weather is bloomin great. It's almost always sunny and dry. Unlike UK bank hol's that i can remember.

I can say the same for Alberta! We have had an unusually wet few weeks but the sun shines a bit everyday!

Sort of yes - it was a mistake and is now for sale in a crummy market and we really don't want to sell it, and it would have to be a damn good offer to sell it. Hoping we HAVE to keep hold of it and move there permanently when DD finishes high school in 3 years. I love it so much, I prefer it there to the house we live in, I've never lived somewhere I like as much - Doesn't look much from outside but the actual inside is lovely, have a look! http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetail...dKey=288599083

We don't have any firm plans - will prob take the kids out somewhere and go for a nice long walk and picnic.

We are going camping next weekend though for a week... decided to avoid the long weekend because of teh crowds.

Thank you. Just had to check the pic's, do you mean the Union Jack? That's DD's old duvet cover, she's got a double bed now, but she still wants me to find a duvet/cover to fit that one too, she has A Union Jack and a St Georges Cross in her bedroom too.

OH wants me to go out in the boat (dinghy) with him  ... last time he somehow steered us onto a tree stump thingy in the water & we ended up spinning around in circles like one of those spinning plates!! My mate was visiting from the UK at the time & it had taken me days to persuade her she'd be safe in the boat

Might spend the day in Vancouver tomorrow if I survive today though

LOL, I think that's where the duvet cover cam from:rofl: She saw someone on telly wearing a UJ dress the other night, I got a 'Oh Mum' and the eyes. I just said I s'pose you want one of those now? I have to bring back a few UJ/England t-shirts when I visit next week.

Thanks PP - really looking forward to seeing them.

The house is now a sparkling palace, and if anyone dares to even breathe, let alone touch the floor, move one item or eat a grape before they arrive tomorrow, there will be trouble.

After that, who cares?
