So many places in NS we havent been able to see yet, looking forward to relaxation, fire pits and marshmallows, slightly concerned about amount of packing for 2 kids and a dog and us, but should be fun;)

This is where I love living here and still being in a position to explore different areas of the province, once were done here still have the rest of Canada to go:thumbsup:

Flederman is building a mudroom. I will be gardening and housework and maybe painting.
we may go to the Flyball championship, or drive down to presquile. No plans made as we only just heard that Fman has the day off

DD is at a sleepover tonight, packing tomorrow and off to Cadet camp on Sunday.

DH is mowing the lawn and takning me out for supper tonight, he is then playing cars tomorrow, dropping DD to camp and then driving out to the lake where he will try to drown me on our first attempt at canoeing.

Me, I is wasting time on here tonight and being taken for supper, supervising packing of DD kit tomorrow and then rushing around trying to buy the stuff she is missing and then dropping her off at camp on Sunday. I will then pack up tasty morsels to eat at lake house, make sure the dog has his lifejacket as once we have mastered the two of us staying upright in the canoe, the dog will join us. I will also try to get the boat exam done so we can actually launch the boat as well - dog might enjoy that more. Please remember the dog is of the persuasion that all water is evil and paws are not made for getting wet.

DH, Henry and myself return from lake on Tuesady am ready for working the rest of week. DD is away for three weeks.

Sort of yes - it was a mistake and is now for sale in a crummy market and we really don't want to sell it, and it would have to be a damn good offer to sell it. Hoping we HAVE to keep hold of it and move there permanently when DD finishes high school in 3 years. I love it so much, I prefer it there to the house we live in, I've never lived somewhere I like as much - Doesn't look much from outside but the actual inside is lovely, have a look! http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetail...dKey=288599083

Not a long weekend here. (Nor in Quebec I think.) The Mrs and daughter are visiting her sister in Ottawa so I will be working on the 'Honey do' list and hopefully getting out on the ATV for a day.

Our equivalent holiday to whatever Monday is on the Mainland is Regatta Day on Wednesday. It's predicated on the St. John's Regatta going ahead, which is in turn predicated on weather. If the weather is bad and the Regatta is postponed, we go to work. If not we have a day off. Only in Newfoundland.....
