Default Let me SCREAM please!

Dad (in uk) bought our Expedition (in Canada) at a very reasonable price.

We arranged the shipping.
We took the car to the train depot in Edmonton - 2 cars there - day off work - loss of money, made it cheaper for FIL shipping costs by lots.

Car has been in the UK since 6 November - couldn't be released as shipping Co' hasn't paid invoice, got hold of shipping Co' they have been ripped off by an employee for lots of money and it's all a big mess and yes they have now sent a wire transfer. And yes all the relevent paperwork is in order.

It's now 10 days later the car is still at the docks not being released because the paperwork is not in order, this of course is all our fault.

Dad is now not expecting to get any enjoyment out of the car when he finally gets it's and wishes he had never started the whole process.

YOU DON'T SAY! How does he think we feel, we have arranged everything and he has just sat and waited and complained. First and last time, we are never doing this again. GGGGGRRRRRRRR

Thanks for letting me rant.

This is of course not on the scale of manghams house falling through - for which I send my very best wishes. In fact it's pretty minor to that. Going to take my Henry for a walk and calm down now, things have been put into a new perspective for me.

Suppose it depends on whether or not you live in one of those redneck type areas...

Reminds me of a song I once heard..

"Your mom's your dad, your dad's your uncle, your mom's your sister.." I forget the rest, but you get the idea...

Damn redneck hill billies!

It's me Step Dad really!

I'm afraid I lost my temper a little at my Mum today, I know your not supposed to shout at yer Mum, I did raise my voice at her and said 'Don't ever think we are doing this again!'

The problem seems to be at their end.

Shouting at parents is never good, they always remember when you need something in the distant future!!

Thankfully I am past the stage of needing from them - they always let me down somehow, so I have found it's best not to ask and sort my own needs out.
