Lesser-known attractions in Canada

I take it that it is not possible to shoot animals from said rock. I
have been there a number of times. It seems to be permanently covered in graffitti. I can only assume that pictures for the Town's website are taken immediately after the anti-graffitti element from the municipality have cleaned it

No, similar to the theory that the Queen thinks the world smells of fresh paint, the good burghers of Okotoks try to make the sizeable British population feel at home by carefully applying grafitti to their public monuments.

I keep threatening to drag the family to the Halton County Radial Railway museum if they misbehave. I can imagine it would keep one amused for several dozen seconds.
My favourite places in Ontario are the Barber Paper mill in Georgetown and the gorge at Elora...

Visit the centre of the universe. It's just down the road from Kamloops, $10 gets you to meditation central:

Not really an attraction but if you are ever out travelling and looking for somewhere to stay near Cache Creek BC, try Bears Claw Lodge. It is just before the start of Highway 99. NW from Kamloops, where highway 97 & 97C meet.
It is a family run wooden lodge and the design was inspired by their kids.

I can strongly recommend that no-one ever stops at the Chiniki Village craft-shop and restaurant on the TransCanada between Calgary and Canmore.

Lots of little dead gophers distastefully dressed up in all manner of costumes for the viewing pleasure of the public.
Awesome

You are quite mistaken. As many on here will testify, Canadian youths are far too respectful, stay children longer, and are too busy at hockey practice, volunteering, or cleaning their splendid teeth to indulge in such vandalism.

Going to contradict you there, you actually eat when you get to Big Valley, the train robbery happens on the way - and they do expect money (for cahrity).

Having realised that the things Canadians say about First Nations' businesses may be complete shite, we headed to the Casino resort a wee bit further west. Suffice to say, we will never grace a First Nations' eatery ever again.
