Unhappy Leaky pipes

After having the occasional damp patch on my utility room floor, that stopped as mysteriously as it started (with none through the constant rainy days we've had recently may it be noted) I've now had the floor flood twice yesterday.

The second time was last night and we caught it in the act and managed to work out it was coming from under the floor in the next room (my girls playroom ). It got too late to look into it anymore last night other than to pull up the lino of the playroom and see the very damp floor. On investigation - which included taking up some of the MDF panels (at this moment in time I really hate amateur DIYers - I will never buy a house off another ) the whole of the under floor bit is wet, muddy, insecty and generally yuk and we still don't know where the hell the leak is from or how serious it is.

Hopefully the insurance will cover the cost of mending where ever the leak is and replacing the floor. This has come at a really crappy time though. I was hoping to get a few jobs done around the place, paint a few walls, weed the garden and stick the house on the market in preparation of our emigration dream (god, that sounds really sappy ). Now we've got all this. I know things could be worse but I'm a bit fed up, bit upset, my OH has gone out tonight, we're supposed to be having a birthday party for my daughter in the house in a couple of weeks, and I'm on a diet - so no chocolate - thus, you get the moans instead.
Sorry

Whinge done.

Aaaghhh, how very annoying!:curse:
No prob with the moan, that's what we are here for, to listen and help each other - normally this would be a hassle, sure, but with all the immigration stuff, it's too much.

Hope you can get the insurance to pay, and are able to get it sorted, and more importantly - solve the mystery!!!

Rob.
