Default At last a Brit to be proud of...

Manchestor's Lance McDermott throwing it down crazy for second place at Whistler's Crankworx 2008 slopestyle event.

Screw the dull Olympics, this is way more fun.

Crazy video

Yeah that's cool but what about the Monster Energy Garbanzo Downhill last Sunday (10th).

UK pro women riders Rachel Atherton and Fionn Griffiths came 1st and 2nd and UK pro men Gee Atherton, Mac Beaumont and Dan Atherton came 1st, 3rd and 4th.

Guess we kicked butt!

Off to watch the Canadian Open DH today - should be fun as the atmosphere is great in the village.

He landed it super smooth, whole run (and two before) was sick, general vibes are that he should have won for overall smoothness and consistency. Same with Brandon and Cam, but Andreu (sp?) had the big move on his last run/first huge trick out of the bag.
