land transfere tax
Hi
We are buying a house, and was looking at the land transfer tax rebate , as we would be classed as a first time buyer. However if does say not owned a home anywhere in the world?
has any one got the rebate , but once owned a house outside of Canada do they check,
don't get me wrong willing to pay, but down to the bare bones of the money we moved across with 12 months ago and 2k would be a welcome.

OK thanks , clear's it up , i have to pay , otherwise if they find out have to pay the tax and a fine and on a PR card don't want any issues.
