Lamb - best price ever
I know there are a few who like lamb but are reluctant to pay the price.
But I see from the latest Sobeys flyer, legs are $4.99/lb ($11/kg). I don't think I've ever seen lower than $6.99 and that was exceptional as well as disappointing. Anyway, I thought this worth a thread on it's own just to bring it to the attention of those who might take the opportunity at this price. If available of course. Sorry to disappoint if not. |

Fresh lamb is pretty hard to find in Ontario, so this is a good find.
Rare is the Canadian who actually knows what lamb tastes like. |

Looks like it's not available here - certainly not in the local flyer. Shame that.
Fresh NZ lamb was $9.99/lb in Costco last week so $4.99 would be a veritable bargain. |

Yes it is. All grass fed, happy sheep. Some interesting breed, Nubian?, which means the meat tastes less rancid than much Ontario raised lamb does.
