Lamb - best price ever

I know there are a few who like lamb but are reluctant to pay the price.

But I see from the latest Sobeys flyer, legs are $4.99/lb ($11/kg).

I don't think I've ever seen lower than $6.99 and that was exceptional as well as disappointing.

Anyway, I thought this worth a thread on it's own just to bring it to the attention of those who might take the opportunity at this price. If available of course.

Sorry to disappoint if not.

Fresh lamb is pretty hard to find in Ontario, so this is a good find.

Rare is the Canadian who actually knows what lamb tastes like.

Looks like it's not available here - certainly not in the local flyer. Shame that.
Fresh NZ lamb was $9.99/lb in Costco last week so $4.99 would be a veritable bargain.

Where is that Bats? I have been keeping an ear to the ground for places like that? Is it reasonably priced?

Yes it is. All grass fed, happy sheep. Some interesting breed, Nubian?, which means the meat tastes less rancid than much Ontario raised lamb does.
Message me and I'll give you the info.

I'm sure it is. I get beef from there, eggs, and lamb occasionally as my husband doesn't like it"
