Appears there are a lot of new members to BE which is great and I noticed the first sticky, read me to newcomers is from lovely biiiink but is quite old now, not a lot of the info in there has changed but perhaps the resident mods could add a sticky to point out the features of the site, ie wiki and search function? Thought this may help

That thread already takes newbies to the Wiki, and has a link to a Wiki page telling them about the search function etc. Not that anybody ever reads it of course!

It's the new year syndrome and the constant rain I would think.
