Where has this gone and more importantly why? When I was a student we nicked traffic cones to decorate our houses/rooms- is this a new trend?

It was my clearly failed attempt at humour Mike.. I mentioned Vancouver because of a certain porcine character residing there, who may have perpetrated such a dastardly deed but clearly that joke fell on stony ground
