Just curious, how old are you?

43 and 44 when we decided to make the move in 2003, now 33 and 34

31 (me), 33 (him) and 2 (little him) at the time of moving I think.
I had to figure out how old I am now before writing that, absolutely no idea. And kind of horrifying when I did

was 2 months short of 3rd birthday when moved from Canada to England
currently 38 (me) and 45 (him); hoping to move back to Canada next summer (we'll both of had birthdays before we get there)
for us it is partly a case of "if we don't do it now...", being more financially stable and having less responsibilities and ties now (ironically we'd both thought of moving to Canada in the past before we'd met!)

Early 40's and with children. Lots of 30's and early 40's might also be to do with wanting to bring up children in a country that offers better quality of life and with better prospects .

Yes i'll second that. We have young children and their future was one of the main reasons we immigrated.
