OK, so not content with having to hang out my washing at night to avoid the wasps only to be confronted by a skunk in the garden... I have just been to put out some garbage to spot something lying in the bottom of the bin. Crap, what is that I thought? It was furry and very still. I'll tip the bin or poke what ever it is. the neighbours have a cat so that could be it. After the first movement of the bin (I know, I can sense people laughing or shouting already
) the (insertword that sounds like ducking) furry thing moves, looks at me with teeth bared and leaps (well perhaps not leaps, so much as flees) out of the bin and under the garden gate.
It was def not a cat. Possums are really not as cute moving as they are when they are lying still.

I have been out in a helicopter for three out of the last 4 weekends looking for wild life (Bears to be exact) in the rockies, and all I see where some huge ugly elk, and you guys are having encounters left, right and center! Friggin typical lol~
Although I would pass on the skunk!

well well just last week or so here in Montreal a woman got 'kidnapped' by a wild bear and although the husband managed to set her free he was so traumatised that he lost control of his car whilst rushing to the hospital with his wife. The latter, died, sadly. Shortly after that the bear was captured and put to death. I wouldn't be looking for bear if I were you, not even at a distance!
