Its snowing, very lightly, but snowing on the the shore of Lake Ontario. I am tying to ignore it.

It's my third winter here, I'm over it.

It's bloody snowing here, too. And it's damn cold, with no prospect of plus temps any time soon.

And guess who forgot to turn off and drain the outside taps?

I'll bet you've still got time to do them.

Not that I am advocating this but I've forgotten to shut off and drain our outside taps more times than they have been shut off and drained in this house in the 21 years we've lived here. No burst pipes yet.

No snow here today. A fair bit on the weekend, highway closures and so on. Pictures on the blog.

I'm sick of winter, enough already.

I may be over-reacting. I forgot last year, too, and we survived. My neighbour has never done it. Then again, we've had two water-related nasties in four years. I don't want another one.

I love the snow but no sign of it yet in Amherst.
