Aw a rugby boy, what a star!

You're obviously very proud of him, and it sounds rightly so.

I've gone all warm and fuzzy and soft focus for a Monday.

Many congratulations! Still can't believe you're old enough to be a grandparent though (oops that came out wrong... :o)

I too had an emergency c-section last yr with Jake, when I was 2 weeks overdue, so I really empathise with the mother, bless. I'd suggest giving her a little bell so she can ring if she wants anything (worked for me, although I believe it became slightly irritating for Sean after a while :p).

She'll be very sore and won't be able to sit up on her own for the first couple days (they cut through the tummy muscles - I couldn't do a sit up till Jake was about 10 months old, haha).

I had a cesarian 7 years ago with little man and was fine ? after the initial pain when i came round, I was up and doing nearly everything within a week i know you aren't meant to drive for 6 weeks, i called my insurance and said i was fine was driving again within 2 weeks

Muscles still not right though can't feel a thing where the scar is not nice :o

Mum and baby are doing well might go home today, She is usually very fit and active so thats a good thing,

wish we were nearer so we could help more, Probably go and see them again at the weekend so may bore you all with more pics
