A lot of downtown Gatineau is under water at the moment and it's going to get worse.

Yeah, it's gone Vancouvan here too. An insurance company known to me has stopped selling water related coverage until further notice.

Isn't 'downtown Gatineau' an oxymoron ? All kidding aside, it does look bad based on aerial photos I've seen. Hope you are on higher ground.

The flooding used to be snow. The warm weather and torrential rain melted it too quickly.

It's terribly windy tonight. I had to go down and secure my boat.
Luckily I found half a big bottle of Canadian rye whiskey under the seat, that helped.
