This empty shipping container got blown off the dock into the harbour!

We had a 60-100kph chinook wind come through northern Alberta this morning, which raised the temperature to from -22C to +5C.
Calgary gets 4-5 chinooks each winter, Edmonton hardly at all, and I cannot recall having had even the mild edge of a chinook up past Fort McMurray. To get a full-blown one up here today was very, very unusual.
Back down to -11C by tonight though, it only lasted a few hours.

Foggy/Windy and Pissing with rain at the moment. A week ago we had over 100cm of snow on the ground. By the end of the day it'll be all gone bar the big piles of grey dirty stuff by the side of the road and the parking lots. So that's winter done with and we're now onto spring.
(Some hope).
