I'd go and camp out in the reception area to her office, and tell every client that comes in to see her exactly why you're there, in a very loud voice. I'm sure she would soon find she's quite at liberty to discuss things with you.

My OH said the very same thing and I think he will be taking up residence there very soon!

I just cannot believe how completely vile she is - just so rude! I wouldn't speak to anyone the way she spoke to me. Grr

Ben did that when we got shafted by B and Q in the UK. Needless to say they ended up paying us oney :)

Could try phoning the senior partner in the practice and enquiring as to why matter concerning your own propeerty can't be discussed with you

Do you have a FAX machine? If so 'accidentally' dial her office number into it and just let it keep redialling. Might not get anything sorted but it would be fun.

K sooooooo we are STILL Waiting for the stupid old boot of a lawyer to send any paperwork to us.

Is there anything we can do to MAKE her send it to us?

instruct your own lawyer?
physically camp in their office and refuse to move ( again a technique ben used in B&Q)

do either of you have any legal coverage through a benefits package at work? I have something called EAP which offers advice on stuff outside your job.

Not really, she is not your lawyer but their's and doesn't owe you a duty to anything other than what her client instructs her to do but....

Threaten to report her to the Law Society if she doesn't get her skates on. The Law Society is unlikely to take any action but she will not want to have to deal with them.
