I'm smitten!
2 Attachment(s)
Read no further if you are not cat people, but anybody who has ever had a siamese will understand!
They are beautiful, beau-tiful cats (and they know it!!) Molly (short-haired blue point) is completely the boss. She's inclined to be jealous and wastes no time in putting her big(ger) brother in his place with a well-aimed clout! Minx!:rofl: |

Re: I'm smitten!
Lovely cats. I prefer Tabby or Burmese.
I'm thinking of getting a new friend for our cat Phoebe. Every time I go in to get her pet food from Pet Valu on Bloor West I take a peak at the Toronto Cat Rescue kittens - they are well looked after by the associates working there and only last about a week before someone snaps them up. They are so cute - I always spend a good half hour with them. Really appreciate that this store has decided not to sell live animals but to show animals for adoption. I have a feeling that before Christmas I will be bringing back 5 tins plus Cat  If anyone is looking for a Cat in the GTA give this place a look - Kittens are purrfect! Ian :) |

Nice cats.
We just got a new kitten a few weeks ago. A medium haired moggy from the Guelph Humane Society. I named her Kali after the Hindu Goddess of Death and Destruction. So far she seems to be living up to her name. ;) |

Re: I'm smitten!
I think Molly is somewhat akin to Burmese in character. She is so into everything, and SSOOOoooo quick! Riley sort of follows on behind in a more relaxed fashion.
Today as we left she was ricocheting around the lounge. We have a couple of items of "cat furniture", which she fortunately recognises as such. I'm glad we opted for "mature" cats .... I shudder to think what they'd have been like as kittens! Anyone looking for a cat tree that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, we got a floor-to ceiling one at Walmart for about 50 bucks! We've hung some toys off it on elastic, and she loves it. It's down in the basement, where they mostly hang out, which I'm happy about. Molly's fav perch is up on the top ledge so she can look down on everyone (literally as well as figuratively), while Riley usually makes it to the lowest level. Both use it as a scratching post, so that's OK. I think it's treated with cat-nip ... which helps! :p One night, one of them decided to play with a feathery toy around the leg of the piano, and unfortunately tore a lot of fluff out of the rather expensive rug that it stands on! I think the rug had got rumpled up into a ridge, which encouraged the culprit. The problem with having two of them, is that each cat can blame the other unless you catch them at it .... but we have our suspicions!!!!! :sneaky: |

If I was feeding her that watery brown muck you prefer she'd be comatose (maybe that's an idea???).
