I dunno, how good are you at making things that fall apart as soon as they leave the carlot?

OP whats the purpose of your question?
Is it because you haven't seen anything advertised, but know there must be something, so are putting out feelers on here?
Have you sent in your resume and heard nothing?
Have you done nothing at all and thought you'd get someone to do it for you?
Good luck though because I think although they have recently taken on more staff its likely to be Canadians first. (I hear there's a union involved with these guys

Good luck with that. There are plenty of people with experience working on those lines in the area that want to work on the lines there. Seriously, it's not a great ambition as the automotive industry is hurting and people working the lines are being laid off/brought back on constantly these days.

The Oakville plant is busy right now (there's even regular overtime on several shifts) but there's a long line of people waiting to get first pick of any additional jobs that come up - not least those from other unionised facilities not doing so well, that the CAW will be looking to "do right by."
