Those are big numbers.....There is a show (til debt do us part) on the cable channel SLICE, based mostly around the GTA, hosted by a lady called GAIL.
She tries to make couple or single people realize how deep in debt they are, and what will happen if they carry on like that.
A lot of people don't seem to think of retirement, and some (most young people) are more concerned about their image (cars, clothes, phone et al)
