Wonder why

Probably ponder the fact that we now have start telling our families. I'm hoping she can hold out on telling hers until Sunday evening.

We didnt tell our family until 12 months after the event - dont ask why too complicated and not my idea!!! My mother was very good when I told her, she was afterall in Cyprus for a week with my sister and my excuse was I didnt want to spoil her holiday. My MIL never ever forgave me for not giving her the opportunity of making my wedding dress (thank god)!

I was outside puting up Christmas decks at 11 oclock the night before we got married

we got engaged in San Francisco, and instead of telling anyone over the phone, just sent postcards thinking they would all get at the same time. Nope, gran got hers first, didn't read it properly, thought we had got married and when we came home, nobody spoke to us cos they thought we got married without them! Ho hum.

Sounds practical

We've abandoned our plans to go out this afternoon. We're both tired and the weather is crap anyway. She's snuggled up in front of crap TV and practising using the word "hubby". I'm going to finish off some crown mouldings I put up last weekend. Who said romance is alive?

Whatever; we're doing the honeymoon at Christmas. This gives her another month to piss off the other women at work.
