Re: Hurricane Igor
I was in New York last week when a tornado blew through at 120mph+ (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0...9.html#s141457) which was exciting enough for an hour or so.

You guys get it pretty rough out there on the east coast. I'll take the crappy AB weather anyday.

South coast of NL has already had 200mm of rain. St. John's is now getting the brunt of it. My ark has been blown away.

Its not going to get over 16c here today, and there's a chance of isolated showers.

Look in the bright side - The roads from Paradise to Donovans were quiet this morning and the 5 minute jaunt really was a 5 minute jaunt - Plus we probably wont need to water the lawns again this year

AX is hanging on to his roof and hoping his car doesn't end up in the Atlantic, Oink is permanently damp in Vancouver, and in Calgary we had snow again this morning.
I think Canada should annexe Arizona.

Yeah but I got to work and realised I'd left my security pass and lunch behind so had to drive back home to get it. Quiet without all the school traffic though.

Splendid idea. Then it would be just like Canada, but with good TV, good food, good beer, better driving, sensible cars, cheap cheese and wine, better fashion, a sense of history and culture, lovely architecture, and right on Europe's doorstep. "Britain - best province in Canada!"
