I and the rest of the us3 family live in the north of England and for the last month we have had rain nearly non stop, some flooding but not as bad as yorkshire. I long for those cold crisp winters in Alberta and those long hot summers too.
Instead at the moment we have hot spring times, wet summers, wonder what the autumn and winter hold for us this year?

We had a brutal thunderstorm yesterday. I've never seen rain that hard. At one point I'm pretty certain I saw a funnel cloud forming. I guess it didn't touch down. Seven people were injured by lightning.

Very strong winds yesterday afternoon but they didn't go spiral. Cold overnight, down to 40.

Still roasting - a balcony with the afternoon/evening sun seemed like such a great idea, we just didn't realise it meant sleeping in a microwave on full

muggy and light rain here in Yorkshire glad im at work and hope that if fairs up for 3 pm when i go home!!
