Ha thanks, there is a video, only the build video at the mo, the flying video is still in the can, it's on my lads YT site, not to be confused with the amazing videos from my YT channel, of course. He also flies an F35.

Anyone know?
Hmmm, I wonder how many Jockeys were failed pilots

Easy to tell on base who had experienced the thrills of ejection - He was the one with his b*****ks dragging on the ground.

Turns out we don't want the CF18s any more, so guess they are going out with a bang. Looks like we're getting 65 F35s at a cost of $16billion.

Which ones, there are 3 variants

Edit: It's 9 billion for the planes. The rest is a service contract, wow, glad that ain't mine to service.

IMO they should buy the Euro-fighter, because i like it better...LOL. They don't say what variant.

It is still 16billion however you cut it up. I doubt we will be getting any CVs as Canada has no carriers
Canada is getting a mixture of A / B CTOL & STOVL

My lad is dreaming that one day he will get to fly the real F35's, he will just have to make do with his foam RC one for now. He's a bit miffed they didn't get VTOL but like you said, no carriers here pal.

Im ex RAF (no i wasn't a pilot before someone asks, if i was i pilot i'd have said was a pilot ) and I also recall being told 3 ejections and no more fast jet flying. Having said that if you ejected 3 times would you want to continue on fast jets.

I'm ex Navy and I was pilot . In all services it depends on passing FTF. Every crew member has to go through a medical after ejecting. Even after punching out once, a pilot can be grounded or reassigned.
