Are you ****ing kidding Im from Lancashire which is on the other side of the Pennines from that god forsaken shithole which is Newcastle. People can understand me to a degree unlike that Geordie dialect that only they understand. Proud to be a Northerner. Prouder still not being a Geordie or from Yorkshire;) I only got 60% in the guess the house price. |

The southern border of the North of England is at the Durham-Yorkshire border in the east and at the south end of Cumberland in the west.

We don't have pikies, but I understand they're mostly immigrants (from southern climes). |

His stance is sadly weakened but the fact that he used consider north of Bloor as being the tundra, but has for several years actually lived, by choice, in the true tundra. In general terms though, I think the disdain for Midlanders and Southerners in the English context, which is held by true Northerners, vastly, and rightly, dwarves such reverse sentiments. Vive la difference, eh? |
Re: How Northern are you?
"Newcastle" but only because I ticked I drink ale.
It's a bit biased. I don't know any women that drink ale. It didn't have a box for corona with lime and if I ticked cider it would put me at Middlesborough and I wasn't having that... |
Re: How Northern are you?
Bournemouth for me- I feel like I should be much further south, but sadly was forced to learn all the words to Ilkley Moor, so scored higher than I should have.
(Born in Bahrain of UK parents from London/Wiltshire) My grandmother lived in Southampton and then Christchurch (near Bournemouth), but Bournemouth is for retired people, and at 53 I'm not ready for that yet!!:p |
