how many calories in a bottle of Blue?
#1
Am I the only one to have gained a few pounds after 1 year in Ontario? How many calories are there in beer - I mean it's liquid isn't it?
After a year of jumbo portions, TH dougnuts, KFC's, Dairy Queen and bread with everything i'm surprised I'm not twice the size I was last year. None the less i'm now on a diet.
How have you guys got on in controlling your weight with all this hi carb junk food around. When I moved here from France my Canadian friends did warn me about junk food - but i'm surprized to see so few very overweight people in Canada.
Perhaps people must be exercising better self control than me. The guys in work just went to the usual Friday lunch, and I didn't go. I just couldn't think of a place to go which didn't serve beer and fries!

I'm not entirely sure how many calories there are in a bottle. A quick recce in my garage revealed no calorie info. I do, however, know that Blue makes me fart like a bastard.

Aint Google wonderful.
Beer Alcohol and Calories
200 bloody brands and Blue aint one of them.
But I would guess about 45 - 50 calories per 100 ml.
Cheers
Steve
Edit: An even better list. http://www.realbeer.com/edu/health/calories.php states Labatt Blue contains 153 calories.

Hmmm so 16 bottles of Blue represents my entire recommended daily calorie intake, and 2 bottles of Blue contain about the same number of calories as a Big Mac. When one combines the Big Mac and the bottles of Blue the results are self evident.
...and as for the Krispy Cremes!
Seriously, how do you folks coming over here from Europe find the food? How do you manage your weight?
