Well...you know every single item you have in your wardrobe?...bring all of it so you have lots of layers. Either that or buy a decent winter coat, sweaters, thermal underwear, hat, gloves, snow pants and boots when you get here.

I was thinking of that one but then figured it wasn't specific enough.

I can't find any daily info for London unfortunately but if the OP doesn't mind looking at the actual hourly info for January of this year perhaps it'll give them a clue.

Buy stuff over here instead of in the UK - go to Marks Work Warehouse or even Walmart (they sell wellies that are rated down to minus 80!!!!)
