I got it wrong too. The trouble with this kind of quiz, if you haven't read the book, is that you have to guess the level it is pitched at.

6. What an odd selection of questions, at least I got the Santa question right. Not bad considering I don't particularily want to be British....or live in the UK anyway!
Can't believe you HAVE to be married for 1 year before you can get divorced - how awful.

Maybe i`m speaking out of line but I would think that if there are questions that need answering by potential immigrants to any country they should be about the following
1) The law relating to everyday stuff.
2) Driving
3) Utlilities - cost of / where to get the information from
4) Working
5) Cost of living / taxes etc
6) Health / dental care
If people have a basic grasp of the everyday workings of a society before they arrive then in theory you would by default live that way, as its the way you've learned before getting there.

Also just remember that when you become a Canadian Citizen you have to swear you'll be faithful "and bear true allegiance" to her Majesty the Queen

I think they should make it more difficult to get married and easier to get divorced!
Indeed. I suggested the other day that people should have to get a license before having children. I was met with blank looks.

(I totally agree with you about the license to have children! Mind you if there was a test my OH and I would probably have failed)
