Skilled worker.... but we are prepared for the wait! Its a bit disheartening that it shall take so long but after reading so many people posting good news here and pictures of homes etc. It makes it all seem possible and not just the dream it is for us at the moment!

Trust me it will fly by, although i am going over on spousal visa, it has taken over 3 years for me to get out of work commitments.

What development is your family moving to?

They have bought a house in the Wasaga Beach Village Development, near the new Walmart. The model home is only finished and I don't think their house will be ready until January 2008. They bought very early and got a very good price with a lot of extras. They want t retire to the area so the wait for the house to be ready is not an issue for them. Where in Wasaga is your home?

We are on timberland crescent, which is just off powerline rd. Which apparently is in front of your families place.

Hi Steve & CJ,
Congratulations on the house, looks really lovely, you must both be very happy and relieved.

Our trip is all booked for 22nd October, everyone is very excited...

Chris has still not done his cover letter :curse:, must ask for some cover letter dancers!!!

We are still aiming to be around the same area as you, I really like what I have read and seen on the net about Wasaga Beach and area. We will be going for a look in October, as where we are staying is about an hour away, i think

If all plans go our way, will be calling round for that beer and to set up all the crazy business plans CJ had

Take care Both of you...
Charlie

Steve,

Hope you are still up for that beer.
Going back into Wasaga Sands tomorrow, to sort out contracts. We are going to be buying there. Such a nice feel to the town. Just need to sort out a rental from October until house will be ready.

Wow, seems to be lots of people coming to Wasaga Beach!! We are just down the road outside of Collingwood in Nottawa. There are lots of expats in the beach, going "pub crawling" (well as best you can over here) in the beach this weekend before it gets too quiet for the winter being the last long weekend of the summer.
Welcome all.
