Yes it will, I have one, but most of the time people dont know what I am talking about when I say .co.uk. So to save hassle I have a gmail account. I like the setup much more than the hotmail one too. So I use hotmail for things that are likely to generate spam and the gmail one for real.
To get a gmail account go to Google and then click on "more" then scroll down and you will see an icon with an M for mail, click on that.

Thanks for the email recommendations.
Now I'm even more confused.

Sorry to say, I dislike Pegasus.
I like Gmail, and not just because it's free. I find it to be user-friendly.
As daft batty and or4ngecrush have said, one can have a "clean" Gmail account that one uses in limited circumstances (to correspond with family members, friends and other contacts who are not likely to introduce one to spammers).
Then one can have a second Gmail account or a Hotmail account or whatever, and one can use that alternative account as a "spam trap."

No need to be sorry
Just curious - what don't you like about it? I'm biased because it's what I've been using in its various forms since 1994, but I find it has the perfect balance of ease of use, powerful features, security and customisability (which I'm fairly sure isn't a real word, but nevermind...!)
