So just heard that some hostages are being held in above mentioned office in edmonton - just heard the very end of the news - so whats happening.....

The raging debates on the comments pages of the cbc site made me smile though - ranging from outright support "stick it to the man" and utter disgust that someone would opt for this route.

We've recently had some incredibly "computer says no" conversations with some WCB staff - the frustration brewing when someone is not well or injured and not in the right frame of mind to fight for themselves can be overwhelming.

It's not right to pick up a gun, but I can sure see how it might happen

Unfortunately this is nothing new, that attitude has permeated WCB for many, many years.
