Default Horseshoe Canyon

Well today we went off to Drumheller to buy me a fossill or two to add to my collection and we found Horseshoe Canyon - not difficult to find, in fact it's sign posted and just off the main road as you go into Drumheller, but we had never stopped there before and probably only did beacause we thought Henry would like a wee and a walk.

It didn't seem real and we were blown away. I love all the landscape around the Badlands I think it is sooo cooool. We will go back later this year to hike to the bottom - having an excited Henry made that type of thing a little too dangerous to do today

Wow - what an amazing place! And our 8 year old is a total rock hound so I can see that we'll be heading out that way this summer

By the way - happy birthday (still, just!!!)

I too stopped and looked at this place on my way back from Drumheller last year. I meant to go back another day for a decent explore too. Thanks for reminding me!
