I'm looking to start a hiking group to explore this wonderful country we live in. There's lots to be discovered, but I thought I start with the GTA area. So if you are from the UK and have landed in the GTA area, like hiking/walking and you're interested in learning about your adopted country then gimme a shout in this forum. All levels are welcome.

All meetings (to get to know each other/plan events) will be held in public places. There is no fee to be part of this group, just what is incurred as we travel around.

Have to say this is a pretty good idea, though my hiking these days is generally nmo more than hikes to/ from the pub. It's me knees you know.
