I'm guessing he won't be substituting a salad for the fries ;) well, with the cat. Edit: Nice video, those guys are going to vote for him because he does go to the projects, and he's not as drunk as he could be. Being compared to Harper is questionable. |
Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
I love how once again Doug Ford has been completely sold out.
Media to Doug: Has the Major quit drinking? Doug: No, he has 100% quit, 100% he hasn't been drinking at all. Two minutes later: Rob: Yeah I was drunk last night. NewsTalk1010 had a great go at him this morning about it... Jimmy Kimmel also had a go at him last night: http://www.ctvnews.ca/video?playlistId=1.1650301 Actually Kimmel touches on the Doug sell-out as well, HAH. Too funny. |
Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
More excuses though isnt it, rather than recognising that he ****ed up, once again.
In his mind its OK, cos he wasnt drinking in the companies time, so its like, he has totally quit drinking, because obviously if you only drink on your own time then you are not an alcoholic:blink: I dont think he really gets that being mayor is a 24-7 sort of job and that his behaviour reflects on his position even when hes not at the office.... I do feel a little sorry for him now, he has a problem and he will need help and support to kick his habit. |

Now, I'd say it is probably likely that other city councillors have the occasional night where they go out and have a few too many... but the difference is that they are doing it in private. They aren't wandering around the streets, hanging around with known criminals, lying about it to the camears, and as NewsTalk1010 pointed out this morning, they don't roll into work at 2:15pm the next day as though nothing happened, with no explanation as to why they are basically 5 hours late for work!! I will give him "private time" when he is inside his own house, doing whatever he wants to do. THAT is when he is off the clock. If he's even a foot outside his front door, he's the Mayor. Christie Blatchford also said this morning that he keeps saying he was "just out with friends"... he really needs to reconsider who his "Friends" are, considering they all seem to be filming him in his drunken stupors and putting the videos online!! :P |

Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
I feel sorry for his wife. Just imagine how she feels when Rob comes home all loved up, bladdered and stinking of cheap steak and onion rings.

Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
BUT HE'S GOT MORE THAN ENOUGH TO EAT AT HOME!!!

He's even speaking in patois, promoting the multicultural nature of Toronto. |

That's pretty pompous. He's the Mayor of Toronto, his job is give the taxpayers of Toronto (of whom I'm one) a bit of a laugh and to promote the city around the world. He's caused Toronto to be mentioned in the UK, even in America, so I think he's at least as good as Mel Lastman and way better than that beige woman from a while back and the chubby fellow with the ill fitting jackets who had the job recently.

Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
Maybe someone should steer him to Nando's. There's a new one that's opened up on Bay Street. Its a healthier option.

Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
It was one of the late show hosts, either Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon said "I've seen lots of Jamaican guys get high, but this is the first time I've seen a high guy get Jamaican."

Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
You see the sketches and the cartoons, but eventually come to the conclusion that the guy is actually beyond parody. The satire pales in comparison to the real thing.

Was talking to Husband about bringing on Ben Johnson in the car this morning, he thinks it's genius - bring on someone who "made a mistake" in using drugs, paid for it with his gold medal and shame from the sport and his country, and now campaigns against drug use and is trying to better is life. Perhaps not such a daft move... the radio was saying this morning as well that Ben Johnson, while he did cheat and was caught, was also sort of the scapegoat in the whole thing as everyone was drugged up at that time, a bit like in cycling. So hard to say!! I completely do not understand the TPB move though. (Couldn't help but laugh when the person on the radio said that perhaps it was a move to gain the vote of "that level" of audience....) |

Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
So, it seems it's all come to a head (again). Smoking crack in his sister's basement, managing to combine misogyny, homophobia and racism into one drunken rant in a public bar, and - finally - acknowledging that he needs to rehab.
Ford's taking a "leave of absence" of unspecified length. The saddest thing is that there still appear to be people in Toronto who would encourage him to come back to the mayoral race later in the year, and there's still at least a chance that if he does that he'll be re-elected. The man's a disgrace to humanity, a shit of the highest order, and his enabling family and friends ought to be much more deeply ashamed of themselves then they have acknowledged. |
Re: He's baaaaccckkkk.....
Any comments regarding Gas plant Wynne the "Billion dollar woman" (or not as she denies even knowing what TF happened as she had her head in the sand)
As for RF This is a brilliant PR move that can only strengthen his grip on Toronto, he can come back clean and fresh and bam!!!! Voted back in Lol |

Especially after the going into rehab apparently seeing the light and getting clean....people will end up falling for that rubbish!! Maybe the whole thing is part of a bigger plan!
Its a joke. He is a joke...and hes making Toronto look a joke. But anyway, I hope he dries out for a bit and then comes back and crushes the opposition in the election. Toronto needs Rob Ford, Canada needs Rob Ford, we all need Rob Ford. |

Sandy could sit in the mayor's chair while he's gone, just to keep an eye on the store.

Yes although it does depend on the individual's definition of what class is. If you mean comedy, then yes he would rival the Benny Hill show! :D He is a class comedy act that's for sure! |
