To think that is was only ten days ago tha we driving through the mountains with the air con on as it was so hot with the sun beating through the windows!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the wifes first time in AB and I had a hard time trying to explain that it gets cold when she was wondering around Edmonton in a t-shirt and light jeans and flip flops.
Thanks for the pics she was wondering what they looked like with snow on.

Please accept my apologies for the first snow - we had some very peculiar English people staying with us wishing for snow for two whole weeks
Even though we kept asking her to stop she carried on
She has gone back now - hopefully the snow will stay away a little longer

LOL...You're have 6 months of this shit. SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW...5-6 Months and you want to leave, That's half a year of white stuff......
This is what makes me laugh. People would rather live with snow, that a little bit of rain. I think 5 month of slipping slide and being freezing is far worst, than a little bit of rain in Van BC. LOL.

The worst thing about the weather right now is that it's that horrible UK-style "damp grey cold" that gets into your bones.

Yes...snow in the Scottish Highlands too - there was even skiing at Cairngorm over the weekend and to think our relatives are making a fuss about us moving to such a cold, snowy place as Nova Scotia!

We were flying on the edge of snowstorms coming back from the Chilcotin, with load of fresh snow on the hill tops. Quite spectacular. The high lakes often begin to freeze late August early Sept.
