Default Health Cost of Being Poor

Interesting article from CBC radio.

Article is based on an editorial from a medical association but hits on some valid points many of which we face daily, and the lack of a fully comprehensive medical system means us who are poor are not always able to access certain healthcare services because we can't afford it, and its not covered, mental health counseling/therapy/psychological services comes to mind, as does physiotherapy so we just suffer.

Unless poor in Canada today, I think it can be hard for your average Canadian to really understand what life is like without extended health and/or resources required for healthcare and to maintain proper health and just how poor alone causes stress and healthcare issues.
