Default Haunted corn maze

Just thought I'd share this in case anyone is near Truro NS and looking for something different to do.

Had a day at the corn maze yesterday (although it originally didn't sound all that interesting, a friend at work insisted we should go) and it turned out to be a lot of fun.

Apparently they host a haunted corn maze on the evenings with 60 actors who dress up in scary costumes and chase you around the maze!

We went to a "Maize Maze" here in Cheshire, UK the other month and it was surprisingly a lot of fun...But a haunted one at night..now that would be good

The one in Norfolk is good too, however my sense of direction stinks and I am therefore still in it trying to get out

No they aren't are they - could you imagine a haunted one too - just run around randomly papping yourself at every turn - very frightening actually if you really were
lost!!!!!

I went around our on with my best mate from Uni, his 5 year old and my wife and I kept thinking about the "Children of the Corn" films Somehow we ended up coming back out of the entrance but after we had been in there for at least 30 mins..
A haunted one would defintely have one cacking themselves..If you wanted you could take in a little flag to hold up and wave if you wanted to get out and were lost but we never took one

Go with someone who owns a google earth pic of the layout lol. Failing that take your kids there and just follow them (they make it look ridiculously easy )and as a bonus you can step out into the light and say you were just making sure they were ok.

Last option take some beers munchies in there and just drink yourself silly (I like the last one)

Can there be an old falling down house on the hill next to the maze, so that when we escape we can run and hide in it? or some woods with loads of branches to trip over whilst scarpering????

If not then i'm not coming

Only if there can also be a rather tall looking scarecrow aswell....who actually appears to be armed with maybe a shotgun...and isn't actually standing still

all sounds good to me and if I take beers I would not care if I did get lost or who poped up I would be crawling out on all 4s anyway and not see who is there

Count me in sounds like an awesome night.

On a more serious note have been to a few haunted events - specifically a couple at Tutbury Castle. Strange things happened there that night believe you me and it wasn't staged cos it happened to one of our group. Lets just say he turned white

I think it would freak me out ........ I still remember having awful nightmares after watching "Children of the Corn" when I was about 13.
