Has anyone been skiing at Wintergreen Alberta

Hi, Just starting to think about the new ski season, and we were wondering if anyone has been to Wintergreen near Bragg Creak and what they thought about it for a young family kids 6 and 4 years old.:)

It closed as a temporary measure in 2002 and permanently for 2003 and i think RCR sold it to the golf club.

Nearest skiing to calgary is Nakiska.

Not strictly true ..... The Canada Olympic Park is a good place to start kids off skiing/snowboarding, and easy to do after school etc, until they become more competent and/or you want a real mountain. http://www.winsportcanada.ca/cop/index_cop.cfm

Sorry Rose but (being a pedant here) Helens post is 100% true. The NEAREST skiing TO Calgary is indeed Nakiska, However the nearest skiing FOR Calgary residents is COP.
