Due to the time difference i am just off out to the parents in law for my birthday supper with the fam (read rum, rye, colouring of pepsi, cards and fun) - Mr MMC on his way back from the rig as we speak - I may not be around in the morning

Likely the best Italian food we've had in Canada. Also, excellent, prompt, attentive service by a waiter who really understood the menu and the wine list.
Highly recommended (although the Mrs really shouldn't have had that third grappa).

I'm pleased to report that dinner was a great success. A restaurant just around the block, recently relocated to Richmond Hill from Yonge & Eglinton, called Sorrento.
Likely the best Italian food we've had in Canada. Also, excellent, prompt, attentive service by a waiter who really understood the menu and the wine list.
Highly recommended (although the Mrs really shouldn't have had that third grappa).

Sorrento is a good choice, tried it before in T.dot Belated b'day to HIDs. Hope the din din went o.k
