You can have ours. Somewhere or other I have a photo (taken of course by ultrarunner) of an Oxford taxi, which is also adorned with the periodic table.

It seems a gentleman's third doesn't quite cut it any more.

Thanks Tuppence. Prezzies opened, Mrs Novo quite chuffed, bottle of champers already down and done and din-dins to come.

Luckily I'm not teaching tomorrow (although she is).

Due to the time difference i am just off out to the parents in law for my birthday supper with the fam (read rum, rye, colouring of pepsi, cards and fun) - Mr MMC on his way back from the rig as we speak - I may not be around in the morning

I'm pleased to report that dinner was a great success. A restaurant just around the block, recently relocated to Richmond Hill from Yonge & Eglinton, called Sorrento.

Likely the best Italian food we've had in Canada. Also, excellent, prompt, attentive service by a waiter who really understood the menu and the wine list.

Highly recommended (although the Mrs really shouldn't have had that third grappa).

Ahhh, Sorrento. Near to where the OH and I were married a few years ago.
Sounds good, might have to try it out if that good.
Happy birfday to your good lady and the original good lady in question.

Nobody should ever have a first grappa, let alone a third. Vom!
