Grow Ops in the UK now

Ms Wong said that some of the young people are often told that they are growing tomato plants.
You'd think the smell might give the game away....

It's nothing new but it appears to be getting worse. Interestingly it is not illegal to buy the seeds, or at least it wasn't when I was in the UK.

This happened in April last year. The pub was near my work, I passed it at least twice a day and every morning we used to see a van load of chinese looking men going into the side door. We were convinced they were storing illegal immigrants. The guy that eventualy shopped them had knocked the back door to ask for some blow and when they refused him he rang crimestoppers

We refer to it as 'chronic' out west. The good, I mean. Ghetto types call it 'kronic'.
The best herb is of course that grown organically with true love, not this rocket fuel chemically treated crap from the grow ops - that's kids' business.
Pure Nelson weed is some of the best in the world. Grown on mountain sides while hippies meditate, emitting herbal vibes between the bud shrubs.

I'm pretty sure it was sourced from North Bay, Ontario, but either way... I find the attitude to it over there interesting. For instance, my OH's bro buys it for the whole family, apparently her parents are heavy tokers. They supposedly took a few ounces in the back of their car over the border on they way down to Florida this Winter the crazy barstewards.
Still I guess you have to do something in your retirement to keep life exciting...

A lot of this is being carried out by Vietnamese and Chinese immigrants. They are forced to do it by the gangs that smuggle them to the UK. Frequently they steal the electricity to power the lights. It's a nasty business run by some very nasty people.
