Fingers crossed the weatherman got it wrong

i know, they've been toying with our minds a bit.

one minute the rain starts monday
the next minute it's friday
the next it's saturday

It's cause there is no science to it, it's a finger up in the air and see which way the wind is blowing method

I forgot my umbrella.

It was hale stoning it here today , don't think an umbrella would have helped

Unfortunately the rain has stopped. I was planning on waiting it out in the pub across the way.

Is it windy though?, best to be safe rather than sorry and have a couple more pints while you wait it out. Best to make sure it's safe to get back

Frost warnjng for us tonight, yesterday we had hail, sleet and snow. Lastvweeks sunburn hasn't even turned brown.

Still, it's not raining.

We're so dry, we've even started the fire hazard warnings.

Even though we're expecting 5cm of snow, and -2 tonight, on a positive note we've made a fire again... which is nice!

I'll trade you 5cm of snow for 10 - 15 mm of rain....?

No thanks!! Anyway, woke up this morning to bright sunshine and no snow. Either it snowed in the early hours and didn't settle, or the weatherman got it wrong. I know where I'd put my money!!
