I booked this band when they were starting out and I was acting manager at the bar way back when. They had mailed a cassette (as was the custom) with this on one side and something else on the other, and I phoned and confirmed right away. They called (I can't remember how much later) with regrets and said that they'd been hired for the same time slot at Winnipeg Folk Festival (more money and tremendous PR), and that was the start of a pretty good run for them. I'd like to think they owe us one, or a discount anyway. Winnipeg has always been a good town for music.
