Nah, they're buskers first and foremost anyway. Maybe if someone would bus them up from LA, and reserve them a street corner...!

They play all over the world at top dollar. Folk Festival type money at least.

Do they now? Well, I didn't know that! Great oaks from little acorns, eh?

What about this lot - are they famous now too?

I have probably lost the plot but, I stumbled across this version of a song I bloody love. The original is good, P!nk's versions are pretty damn good but this is shall we say a little different. Both singers are very powerful singers but aside from the over-shouty bits, Gaga shows incredible vocal range/control and power- yes, she is a bit weird but for effect. I loved it....and it isnt diddly diddly bluegrass, jazz or Canuck's weird and even more shouty stuff and for that you should be a little bit thankful
Oh, and whilst her voice/music is spot on, her dress sense.....not so much.

In '83 we were roofing, way up there, and one guy was singing it Mexican-American Radio, so we all followed suit.

This is good boogie-music on the piano, and an excellent drums-break starting at the two-minute mark. Drum solos aren't everybody's cup of tea, but for those whose cup of tea they are, this girl does a super job. Enjoy.

And as a bonus: the video that automatically follows it has some pretty good jiving.
