Default good ladies shops in Montreal?

Hi all

I have a friend who lives in Montreal. I would like as a surprise, to send her a gift voucher for herself to buy some new clothes but being in England and never been there, I have no idea what stores they have or if they even sell gift vouchers online!

I'd like somewhere she can get good clothes but also at good prices. Any ideas welcome

Thanks

Xx

The Pigalle has a high reputation as a shop to buy good ladies.

Les Ailes De La Mode

Also lots of good one off boutiques but may not have gift cards and can be expensive.

It won't accept a Visa Debit card as a method of payment I only have a debit card, so back to the drawing board!

OR perhaps send her a giftcard from a store that is both in UK and Montreal, like Zara - not sure if you can do that though or if the Canadian stores would accept a gift card in GB pounds.............

I don't know old your friend is, but this Montreal designer is all the rage here at the minute:

You could buy a pre-paid credit card and use that online, I think.

.... For "proper" Franco Canadian feel, the two French Canadian department stores are www.simons.ca (which also has online shopping)

Montreals luxury department store is Ogilvy - http://ogilvycanada.com - you may be able to buy a gift card over the phone.

Other (specific) Montreal women's clothing brands include Tristan (tristan.ca), bebo (bebo.ca), stacey zhang (staceyzang.com)

These should be good starters, but let me know if you need one or two more!
