My poor ears.
The best has to be Christmas in New York. But only because of the swearing and he has worse teeth than me so it makes me feel better. |

Re: The Good Christmas Music Thread
No idea how to find a video, but I like Chris De Burgh's "A spaceman came travelling". Always played it in Woolies especially for me. Anyone know if there even is a video?

Re: The Good Christmas Music Thread
Last year I heard a Christmas song for the first time on the radio. It was in the top 5 worst Xmas songs.
I believe it was made in the "50's", possibly "60's", an American lady singer and it's about (roughly) her husband goes to work and on the way home has a car or bus accident and she & daughter gets told he's died in the crash then at the end of the song he walks through the door. A bit vague I know but anybody have any idea the name of this song ? |

Re: The Good Christmas Music Thread
Oink, I was just about to post the same thing. I have this CD and it is still going strong from 1999. It has almost all the songs mentioned on it and Christmas just would not be christmas without it! I also have a hideous freebie CD given away with the Daily Mail full of much trashier Christmas hits of the late 1990s. Although we have not lived in the UK since 2005 both my boys associate these kind of songs with Christmas. It is the one time of the year when I can play my stuff without being moaned at.
