Agree - therapists are never thanked in the form of cards/chocolates either! Don't often even hear it when patients are discharged.

Though many people seem to think that these jobs are all done by nurses. I've lost count of the times I've been asked if I had to do a little course after the nursing exams to be able to take x-rays.

....I hear being a dustman is a great career - they get tips and all sorts. They even get their very own Christmas themed threads on prestigious international internet forums.

I've always dreamed of being a deck chair attendant. I suppose that's something to which an OT might aspire but don't get in the way of my pitch.
