No, I didn't do any fruit picking, I wouldn't have minded though had I been really desperate for cash.

I was lucky and got a job fairly quickly. I was in the right place at the right time and never looked back.

I just figured out that I have had gainful employ for 24 out of 36 months here in K-Town. That's not a good ratio of earnings to residence, but things seem a lot more stable now.
