I do not know how true this is but it is certainly food for thought. Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following employee statistics. 29 have been accused of spouse abuse. 7 have been arrested for fraud. 9 have been accused of writing bad cheques 17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses, 3 have done time for assault 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit. 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges. 8 have been arrested for shoplifting. 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits 84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year. Which organisation is this ? It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us inline. What a bunch of $£*&^!â€$£?@ we have running our country - it says it all. And just to top all that they probably have the best corporate' pension scheme in the country!! (UK) Remember what an old wise man once said …. You can tell when a political is lying because their lips are moving. :p Secondly. Snopes.com There's been several versions of this, including one naming the US Congress instead of the UK House of Commons. The numbers of each alleged crimnal behavior are the same though. |

This must be a better barometer of Public Opinion
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politi...05/default.stm I think the historic 3 term was down to zero opposition and a huge number of people not voting. I am ashamed to admit for the first time in my adult life I didn't vote in that election because I was so disgusted with the opposition parties. |

I am sure you are wrong about the schools the Blair children went to and that many Cabinet Ministers children go to. As far as the facts are they went to state funded high schools. They may have been in adiferent area to where they lived.
Blair and Harman both sent their sons to selective schools. The funniest thing is that Harriet Harman sent her son to a Grammar SCHOOL  |

Difficult to extrapolate from the personal decision, also difficult to justify your first statement. The fact is that people did vote for the third term.

I saw many instances of the above against the war, but I don't recall many in support of it. |

You vote for which party you think best represents the beliefs you hold, my view is that you don't blame individuals Blair/Bush for decisions taken by the Administration/Government. It is all too easy to say 'blood on their hands' absolving whoever from blame. Unfortunately life is just not that simple, and for the record my vote against the war was made at a political level.
