Gatwick Airport Info needed please
#1
Hi,
We're flying from Gatwick on 5th December to Alberta, and wanted to ask if there is a drop off point where our relatives can drop us off, and are there trollies near that drop off point?.
The reason I ask is that we have never used Gatwick before and we are going to have excess baggage with us, so couldn't really managed to get far with it.
Plan be would be to ask my relative to park his car and help us with our baggage, but again, not sure how far the car park is from the departure/check in and costs for parking.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Ta so much

Yes there's a series of drop off lanes in front of the terminal, but like Heathrow, when it's busy you will be ushered along.

Hubby and I worked there until we came to Canada. You can only drop off literally. They can stay there and have extended hugs and farewells unless they want to be towed away.
Best bet would be for them to park in the short stay car park, which isn't cheap, but at least that way you can all take your time...
