Is the Co-op funeral service still going?

Don't know why I asked, really

I assume they're good value because my family always used them.

Yep the Coop are a very big concern. That's who cremated my mother (can't say buried because we are doing that in October.)

They bought out all the independent undertakers in the Rhondda and surrounding area.

Personally I'm torn between not dying or coming back as a zombie.

I did kind of like the idea someone posted on another forum recently, of setting up a program that would post messages 'from beyond the grave' on their facebook page if it didn't hear from them for a few months :).

Facebook for the dead (Deadbook). That's a great idea. It's a huge market. We just need a way to tap into it. Does anybody know God's IP address?

Having spoken to the family and Mr Moochops, have decided to relent (or is that repent) a little and have a tinsy wincy bit of a bloke with a bible there :sneaky:

Not for me but as lots have said, for the ones that are left - on the proviso that when i'm cremated that they can stop the casket halfway through and read out a message from me that says

"Amanda would like a moments silence"

Silence

"and requests that if within that moment of silence you heard any sort of banging coming from inside the coffin - now would be a good time to get it out"

Excellent. May I suggest Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire as the musical accompaniment? :p

The second one is one of the few songs that I prefer to the original version. I do still like them both though. At least the Bangles made an effort to play instruments.
